Each season follows the same basic pattern. Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles are constantly trying to figure out new ways to get rich, get high, and stay out of jail; their "get rich quick" schemes are usually foiled by the vindictive trailer park supervisor, former police officer Jim Lahey, and his eternally shirtless assistant, Randy, though the Boys' own incompetence certainly plays a role.
