The City is an MTV reality television series and a spin-off of the MTV show The Hills. It documents the changing life and surroundings of Whitney Port as she moves to New York City to work for fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. The program premiered December 29, 2008 and concluded its full first season December 1, 2009. The second season premiered on April 27, 2010.
